Prof. Dr.-Ing. Klaus Brieß is university professor and director of the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at the Technische Universität Berlin. In project SEAR he is repsonsible for the supervision of students in the lecture course "Planetary Exploration and Space Robotics".
Project Manager / Lead Systems Engineer
Lennart Kryza is working as a research and teaching assistant at the Chair of Space Technology of the Technische Universität Berlin. He is the project manager of the space rover projects and their lead systems engineer. His research focuses on systems design of planetary rovers in general and the development of the rovers' autonomy.
Mechanical Systems Engineer
Marcus Meuser is a Masters's student in Computational Engineering Sciences. He is working in the project as a student assistant and is responsible for designing several mechanical components of the space rover projects. Furthermore, he is SEAR's mechanical systems engineer and working on the control software of SEAR's locomotion system.
Software Systems Engineer
Bertram Sändig is working for the project as a student assistant. As the software systems engineer he is supervising software engineering tasks and responsible for the development of the localisation, mapping and navigation subsystem of SEAR. Bertram is a Master's student in Computer Science.
Sascha Kapitola is a research and teaching assistant at the Chair of Space Technology. He was the software systems engineer of SEAR and still fulfills a major role in the project by consulting the current team in technical issues as well as by assisting the software development.
